The Tempcontrolpack ice brick is designed for the cold chain transportation of fresh food, biopharmaceuticals, and other temperature-sensitive items. They are used to maintain a low temperature inside the packaging throughout the transportation process by transferring cold and hot air. Ice bricks are also known as ice pack freezers, ice bottles, ice blocks, or PCM ice packs in different countries. They serve as an alternative cold source to our typical ice packs, with the same functionality. The main difference between them lies in the external material, one being a thinner bag and the other a durable thick brick, which is aesthetically pleasing.
