Cómo utilizar bolsas de aislamiento térmico

Insulated bags are a lightweight option that can be used to maintain the temperature of food and beverages during short trips, compras, or daily carrying. These bags use thermal insulation to slow down heat loss or absorption, helping to keep the contents hot or cold. Here are some ways to use insulated bags effectively:

1. Pre-treatment insulated bag

Refrigeration: Place an ice pack or freezer capsule in an insulated bag for a few hours before filling it with cold food or beverages, or pre-cool the insulated bag itself in the refrigerator.

Keep warm: If you need to keep warm, you can put the thermos bottle in the thermos bag to preheat it before using it, or rinse the inside of the thermos bag with hot water and pour out the water before using it.

2. Fill it out correctly

Make sure all containers placed in the cooler bag are properly sealed, especialmente aquellos que contienen líquidos, to prevent leakage.

Distribute heat and cold sources (such as ice packs or hot water bottles) evenly around food to ensure more uniform temperature maintenance.

3. Reduce the number of activations

Minimize the frequency of opening the insulated bag, as each opening will affect the internal temperature. Plan the order in which you pick up items and get the items you need quickly.

4. Choose the size of the insulated bag appropriately

Choose the right size cooler bag based on the number of items you need to carry. Bags that are too large may lose heat more quickly due to more layers of air.

5. Use additional insulation

If you need to keep it insulated or cold for a longer period of time, you can add some extra insulation to the bag, such as aluminum foil used to wrap food, or place extra towels or newsprint inside the bag.

6. Proper cleaning and storage

The pouch should be cleaned after use, especially the inner layer, to remove food debris and odours. Keep the insulated bag dry before storage and avoid storing the wet bag in an airtight manner to avoid musty odors.

By using the above methods, you can use your insulated bag more effectively, ensuring that your food and drinks are kept at the proper temperature, whether you’re bringing lunch to work, a picnic, or other activities.
